To give better service, a copy of Türk SEM also runs on our local system and we sync the two systematically. Our site has been on WordPress for more than 10 years, we have a workflow built around it, and inside Turksem.com there are 5 plugins of our own.
The most important of them is the WordPress plugin we call “Türksemveri Web”, which takes on various jobs and handles the interaction between our API systems. That plugin is what makes some of the public tools from our Turksemveri work run on the website.
WordPress 7.0 and Our Own Plugins
Plugins we built years ago started throwing errors once WordPress updated. Which is why we recommend systematically going over the plugins you run on WordPress and the ones you coded yourself. With WordPress 7 we hit serious backward compatibility problems. If you are developing your own plugin for your site, that is worth knowing.

The tools on the Turksem.com/seo page that had been erroring for a while now work perfectly. During the rebuild we widened what they can do, we pull data from more APIs, and with TSMind we make sure readers meet content they can actually follow.
We Are Working on a Next.js Project
For a while now we have been recommending Next.js for new website projects. But; our own site being on WordPress makes for a certain contradiction. For the moment we have updated the plugins that have run on our system for years, but from here on we want to get Türk SEM onto Next.js.
Once the nervous system of the site has fully moved across, we will offer the service as “SEO Monitor”, in a far more functional shape. The tools on our site knew nothing about each other, and we got them partly talking through Türksemveri WEB. Recoding around a hundred tools one by one in Next.js is a considerable job. But; for Türk SEM, one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Turkey, we think keeping up with current technology matters a great deal.
With the new modern site, site owners will be able to see everything about their site on the SEO Monitor page. We will connect to Search Console live, and ranking movements will arrive in a structure that updates as they happen. At the same time it will talk to many of the systems we built ourselves over API, setting up a live system with a genuine real time flow of data for the user.
Either way, the tools on our site now work without trouble: we reinterpreted the plugins from scratch and updated the intelligence engine.
