turksemveri is our public engine for the measurable side of your site. You give it an address, it takes a single technical snapshot, and every one of our tools reads from that snapshot.
It measures, it does not interpret. The side that judges what your content actually says is BrainEngine, inside the member panel.

What is turksemveri?
It is the analysis engine that visits your site when you give it an address, takes the page exactly as served, and runs it through 89 separate checks. The result is written into a single record, and every tool on this site, from the rank finder to the SSL inspector, reads from that same record. Your site is crawled once and dozens of tools speak in your own numbers. Nothing we collect is ever published anywhere.
cURL: it takes the page as the server sends it, not as a browser would paint it. That is the raw source of the measurement.
What it knows, and what it does not
Let us draw that line up front, because most tools do not. turksemveri measures: it reads the things that can be counted, that have a known limit, where the right answer is not up for debate. It does not decide whether a piece of writing is any good.
It measures this

- Days leftIt knows how many days remain before your SSL certificate expires.

It does not know this
- Whether what you wrote is any good.
- Whether it genuinely answers the question the reader arrived with.

- Whether the subject suits the audience you are writing for.
turksemveri is not an intelligence system and we will not describe it as one. Behind everything it measures there is a number and a known limit. Where interpretation begins, turksemveri ends.
One crawl, every tool
We do not re-crawl your site for each tool. We crawl once and keep the snapshot; the SSL page, the title tool and the speed report all read from it. What that means for you is simple: the examples on our tool pages do not stay generic, they fill up with your own site's values.

Googlebot and turksemveri: what is the difference?
Googlebot crawls your site, records it in Google's database and serves that content back to people through search results. turksemveri crawls it too, but shows what it measured only to you; it never publishes the content it collected anywhere.
The fundamental difference between the two is what the content is used for.
