From Advertising Agency to Türk SEM
In 2005 we founded Istanbul Advertising Company, the first digital advertising firm in Türkiye. After that chapter we moved into tourism.
Our tourism work has continued for many years since, but our interest in Google Ads and SEO never faded. One benefit of being first in this field, and of holding the best trained knowledge in it, was the number of friendly companies who wanted to draw on that experience.
In the end we decided to put that knowledge and experience into a company of its own: corporate in outlook, settled in its systems, orderly in its work, and applied only to websites belonging to clients we choose ourselves.
The Türk SEM Manifesto is the constitution we intend to pass on to the generations that follow.
Türk SEM SEO Manager Tahir Dinç began working on the web in 1999 and published his first website in 2001. In 2004 he became an editor at the Open Directory Project (ODP).

Dinç, the founder of Türk SEM, started out in 1999 and became an ODP editor in 2004. Our team has been inside this industry since 2003. After Istanbul Advertising Company, the first firm in Türkiye to house both SEO and SEM under one roof, we returned to the work under the Türk SEM name. Today we manage the five million monthly visitors arriving at roughly 200 websites owned by our founding partners.
Counting the companies we provide SEM services to, we are among the twenty organizations that manage the most traffic in Türkiye.
