At Türk SEM we stopped using Semrush and Ahrefs a long time ago, on our own projects and on our partners’ projects alike. We brought the whole system in house and analyzed everything through the set of tools we built under the name Turksemveri.

Nearly every layer you could learn from the Ahrefs and Semrush portals was giving us enough to run our projects on. The Turksemveri system was almost 3 years old, and we were feeling the limits of being published on WordPress far too much. The plugins we developed, the PHP tools and our own PHP software had done their job for the future of Türk SEM.

Patterns

Once we pulled these separate systems under one roof, the first thing we did was find the patterns. We put weight on the sub-branches of page speed, combined the effect of changes there with the weight of changes in the sub-branches the on-page SEO tool discovers, and looked at what those two areas together do to rankings.

We split those patterns into 5 main sections, with tens of sub-sections under some and hundreds under others, and gave every branch a weight. The pattern system was excellent, and all it needed now was an intelligence engine bolted onto it. After that we got the chance to simulate the Brain system Google uses in its own searches.

Brain

At Türk SEM we try to run the right analysis so that what we do is among the best in the world, and the best if that is possible. A good SEO tool, unlike Semrush or Ahrefs, does not fix on backlink values, it fixes on adding value. And that is what we set out to find: the “value” that moves a registered site to its next stage. In the Türk SEM panel, every mathematical value, and a single site amounts to roughly 30mb of data, every 1 kb of it, every mathematical symbol, goes through the part of our own intelligence system we call “Brain”, which is trying to work out that next stage.

The Chrome Extension

We run the crawler not on our own server but as an extension inside your Chrome browser, which genuinely simulates a search engine bot. Far more thoroughly than Screaming Frog, it walks up to 10,000 pages of a site and takes notes on every one. That much already exists in Screaming Frog, so it was the easy part; the hard part was what we call TechDet, finding the errors inside a site that a normal crawl struggles to see. These errors affect the user experience and go well beyond saying a title is too long, and we get down to those fine values. On-page SEO is not just the home page for us: we walk nearly every page of a site, up to 10,000 of them.

The First Brain Simulator With an Intelligence Layer

Five core pillars formed the center, and we placed another 5 layers on top of it. Each layer holds patterns in pairs and in threes, and every layer processes what the layers before it produced through very involved algorithms. In the end that reading was not a simple 2 plus 2, and patterns alone would never have carried us to a result without an intelligence system. So we connected our TSMind intelligence layer underneath it, and had it read the site content, the other values and the data coming out of every layer, then turn all of that back into mathematical terms.

TSMind, as it does on the E-E-A-T side, is something we lean on often in certain places. E-E-A-T is usually more than what is visible, it carries meaning and it carries value. Finding that with a tool alone stays limited. So at Türk SEM we use TSMind, carefully directed, for clarity on E-E-A-T.

The system is excellent, but sadly we cannot reach the true values yet. To be honest about it, the basic reason is that you would have to take every single piece of content on a site independently and draw out where it adds meaning and where it costs meaning. Right now the system does that at the surface, and to channel our resources properly we focused on the larger part of the problem. Focusing on every single component is not something we can measure or afford. The reason; we want to give these excellent features away free for a while.

The technology is moving, and plenty of portals may put out the vision we are setting down today. But; Türk SEM will be in the records as the agency that did it first in the world. A Brain simulator is more involved than anyone would dare take on, and at Türk SEM we have managed part of it. We will publish our site in three languages, English, German and of course Turkish. In time we want to take it to 10 languages.

There are only 2 months left before our new infrastructure. We are close to the end of a year of work.
