Türk SEM officially uses 2 websites. They are:
https://www.turksem.com
https://www.turksem.com.tr
Any site other than these 2 has nothing to do with Türk SEM. For your own safety, make sure your browser shows one of the addresses above. The privacy principles set out here apply to those 2 sites. Do not believe anyone introducing themselves as Türk SEM on WhatsApp. Türk SEM has exactly one official WhatsApp line, and that is +90 532 234 24 40. Messages mentioning Türk SEM that arrive from foreign numbers are fraudulent; know that and do not believe them.
To avoid being defrauded, never give any credence to people introducing themselves as Türk SEM from foreign numbers. Türk SEM is a digital advertising agency that has worked with a good name in this country since 1999. We run Türk SEM as two brothers and we care about its standing at the highest level. The official Türk SEM website is Turksem.com.
Your security matters to us at Türk SEM. That is why any personal data you share with us is protected carefully.
As the data controller, Türk SEM sets out in this privacy and personal data protection policy which of your personal data is processed and for what purpose, with whom the processed data may be shared and why, how and on what legal grounds we process it, and what rights you hold over the data being processed.
The Personal Data We Collect, How We Collect It and on What Legal Grounds
Your IP address and user agent information are processed for analysis alone, through cookies and similar technologies, by automated or non automated means, and sometimes obtained from third parties such as analytics providers, ad networks, search information providers and technology providers. That data is recorded, stored and updated within the frame and for the duration of the service and contract relationship between us, on the legal basis of legitimate interest.
Why We Process Your Personal Data
The personal data you share with us is processed and updated for analysis alone, in a manner proportionate to and consistent with its purpose, for the duration of the contract and the service: to meet the requirements of the services we provide as well as we can, to make those services reachable and as useful to you as possible, to develop our services in line with your needs, to bring you together with broader service providers within the legal framework, and to meet the obligations placed on us by law (sharing personal data with judicial and administrative authorities when they request it).
Notification Emails
When you open an account and start tracking one of your sites, we email you about meaningful changes in that site's search performance. These messages are part of the membership service: their content is measurement data about your own site. We do not send campaigns, discounts, or product announcements through this channel.
Messages are sent from [email protected]. A member receives at most two notifications per month. If we detect a technical breakage on your site that needs attention right away, one additional alert may be sent.
We record which email we sent, when we sent it, and whether you clicked through to the dashboard. That record exists only to measure whether the notifications are useful. We do not track opens, we use no third-party analytics in these emails, and the data stays on our own servers.
You can turn notifications off at any time. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can also manage this in your account settings. Unsubscribing does not affect your membership or any service you receive.
Who the Collected Personal Data May Be Transferred To, and Why
The personal data you share with us may be transferred, provided the necessary technical and administrative measures are taken, to third parties, institutions and organizations at home and abroad from whom we receive or to whom we provide services in carrying out our work, with whom we hold a contractual relationship or a SEO collaboration, and to judicial and administrative authorities on request.
Your Rights as a Person Whose Personal Data Is Processed
