At Türk SEM we keep making improvements so that we can work with our clients in a healthier way. As part of that we retired the panel we had been using and moved to a new one. In the client panel we now watch the site we are working on in real time. The state of the site is analyzed continuously, and if a problem comes up it goes out as a notification to every Türk SEM manager.

Thanks to our site monitoring system, our clients can see their speed figures live. If there was an outage during the day, the details of that outage are shared with them as well.

The data that comes in is backed up with tables and statistics as well.

The New Support System

Requests and questions now go straight into the support system, which is where we want them collected. That way the whole shared team can see the support tickets and reflect the improvements back. The support we used to run over email is now run through the Türk SEM website.

The Reworked Reporting System

The reports we used to send by email now go out through the system. Our partners can put their own comments on those reports. In the report details we now walk clients through that month’s developments far more actively. Every member of the shared team can say what they think about a report. For healthy communication with the company, this part of the work matters a great deal.

Starting a New Product

Clients can now start a new product without having to contact us at all. Payment is not in there yet, but it will arrive with the next round of development.

Everything in the Panel

Our clients can see support, reports and products together in one place. Thanks to the system we built ourselves, the data recorded automatically about their sites is reachable from the same panel.

A World First in the Blog System

On the client blog page, where we put our technical discussions and our content, we took a different approach to how the content works. You can now write what you think about a blog paragraph on that paragraph itself. We pulled comments off the single pile at the bottom and rebuilt them so each one belongs to its own paragraph. A reader can now respond to the exact sentence the writer put down. With that, Türk SEM becomes the first in the world to run paragraph level commenting.

Paragraph level commenting on the blog

This is one of the features that got us most excited. You can try it on our sample post, Flamingos and the Aksaray Salt Lake: The Graceful Guests of Nature.

The Press Monitoring Module

The press monitoring module we have been working on for a long time did not make it into this new panel. But; we plan to add it in later versions. We put a lot of work into it, and although we did get the data coming in over 4 separate APIs into a meaningful shape, we could not carry it to a finished state. We put every file we had worked on to one side and decided to come back to it later. There are 2 basic obstacles: the time problem that the workload naturally creates, and the high costs.

When we do release the module, every one of our clients will get the right to use it free of charge.
