As part of Türk SEM’s work in the public interest, we set up the academic journal site we developed for academics free of charge. The site gives modular access to everything an academic journal needs.
Our academic journal website is provided free to journals that have been publishing for at least 1 year. To apply, reach us on WhatsApp. Please check our conditions further down.
The article and journal management runs from the WordPress admin, and the site design from the Customizer.
The design is modern and follows the Türk SEM style. Both the desktop and the mobile version are built to be easy to use.
The color schemes are granite toned and can be managed from the Customizer. Every design element can be changed there.
The Journal System
The journal algorithm works on a monthly or a yearly basis. Take it yearly, or pick a month and run it monthly. Every article you add to the site can be tied to an issue, so readers can see which article sits in which issue.
The Article System
It gives you a developed article archive, an article detail system, article search, and a structure for submissions and for checking on them. Every article added to the site can be tied to an issue, and readers see which articles are in which issue.
There is a comprehensive submission screen. On submission, a “submission ID” is created for the author. The status can then be checked with that ID from the “check your submission” section.
Results can be checked afterward, as in this example. Whatever is written into the “message for the applicant” meta box on the article detail is visible to the author.
Accepted Articles
Accepted articles are listed in the articles section of the site. On the article detail you can reach the download link and the other links for that article.
The Blog System
The blog system is there if you want it and can be left alone if you do not. Across the site, blog posts are not tied to any other module. It stands on its own and appears only within its own category.
Conditions
- The journal has to have been publishing for at least 1 year.
- Hosting sits on Türk SEM servers.
- The hosting cost belongs to the journal.
- The site is built on the WordPress CMS.
- Basic security measures are in place. Even so, because this is a service we provide voluntarily, our company accepts no responsibility for any problem that arises.
