In July 2014, with a piece of work that pleased web publishers, Google declared war on copied content sites. With a copied content share in its own data reaching 30%, Google wants to put a stop to sites that produce copied content. Through the same work it is also making an effort to back up the support it has always given to sites that produce original content.

Google has published its complaint page for sites producing copied content in a number of different formats over the years. As of 2014, though, the “copied content complaint” page is live at its new address.
