For instance, if it runs as “https://www.example.com”, remember the www. part.

If the owner of the site you are looking into has deleted the theme signature from the various places it sits in, the theme details may not come through.
The “style.css” file of the site is fetched with cURL. That file is then scanned for the theme author’s signature. Once the signature is found, it is shown in the result.
